• We will start at the Riddlesburg trailhead: Riddlesburg trailhead for the Huntingdon and Broad Top Rail Trail, Riddlesburg, PA

  • (65 Miles) via US Rt 30 west - adding a Bathroom stop at TA Travel Center (truck stop) 16567 Lincoln Hwy, Breezewood, PA 15533
    

The H&BT Rail Trail reuses a former railroad right-of-way along the Raystown Branch of the Juniata River.  Riders will cross a 1930s-era bridge spanning the Raystown Branch of the Juniata River.  Cyclist will pass through the Cooper Sawmill ruins and also a massive slag pile as a result of the burning of coal in coke ovens.  You can take a closer look at the Coke Oven located 1/4 mile from the Trailhead.
